Support
Cutsheet turns a plain-English list of pieces into an optimized, printable cut diagram for sheet goods. It runs on your iPhone or iPad. Write to support@cutsheet.ai and include the text you typed if a layout looks wrong.
Describing pieces
The quickest form is quantity @ width x height, in inches, plus the sheet: full sheet 3/4 ply: 4 @ 24x36, 6 @ 12x48. Fractions work (23-1/4), so does minimize cuts, lock grain, edge trim 1/2 and thin kerf. When sizes could be feet or inches, Cutsheet asks.
Free-form descriptions ("a cabinet 30 tall, 24 deep, 18 wide") are read by Apple Intelligence on the device. That needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later or an M-series iPad with Apple Intelligence turned on in Settings. On other devices, type the pieces as above.
The layout
Every cut is a straight edge-to-edge cut. The blade kerf (1/8" by default) is taken from every cut; a piece that only fits without kerf is reported, not squeezed in. Pinch to zoom the diagram, tap a piece for its size and the cut that frees it, swipe between sheets. Edit changes sizes and quantities and re-lays out for free. Shop mode steps through the cuts one at a time with the screen kept awake.
Pro, purchases and restoring
Free gives 10 layouts a month, one saved project and PDF/PNG export with a small watermark. Pro removes the limits, adds SVG and CSV export and scanning a sketch with the camera. Pro is a lifetime license (one payment) or a yearly subscription, bought in the app through the App Store.
New device, or Pro not showing? Open Settings > Restore purchases in the app while signed in to the same Apple Account. Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your Apple Account settings; refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Scan a sketch (Pro)
Hold the camera over your notes or drawing in good light, tap Done when the text is highlighted, then check what was read before laying it out. Numbers are never guessed: if a size is wrong in the review box, fix it there.
Exports and printing
PDF pages are US Letter at a stated scale, one sheet per page with the cut list on the last page; print at 100% and a ruler will match. PNG is 300 dpi. SVG and CSV (Pro) open in CAD and spreadsheets.
